Maps of Nijmegen

Since Nijmegen is not a simple village we want to make sure you are a bit familiar with the place where you will be spending your studies. For that reason we provide some maps of Nijmegen, both of campus and the city in general. Apart from that we want to make sure you can find your way around campus so below you can also find some information about how you can find specific rooms on campus.

Building information

There are many buildings on campus and since it would be too much work to write out the entire name of every building on each of your timetables, Radboud came up with abbreviations for each of them. We made a quick overview for you below.
In general the location that is mentioned on your timetable is structured like '[Building-Abbreviation] [Floor].[Room-number]'. For example for Maria Montessori one of the lecture halls on the ground floor is MM 00.025. This holds for almost all buildings. However, if you can't find a specific room, you can always ask the porter that is present at the entrance of each building.

Campus

Below you can find two maps of the university campus. In the top one we highlighted the buildings you are most likely to visit during both the orientation, as well as during your studies in general. The bottom one is a map provided by Radboud that includes all buildings affiliated with Radboud University. We will also have a Campus Exploration activity early on in the week to help you get familiar with campus soon enough!

The places that are most often visited or mentioned (for example as landmarks) are highlighted here.
